This general law practice began on October 1, 1979 in a small one-room office in the Brown County Professional Building. While serving as Chief Deputy Prosecutor from 1979-1990, Tom's practice was limited to a part-time operation, handling only civil cases. In 1989 Tom purchased the Old Kelp House on the corner of Main and Jefferson Streets, just a block from the courthouse, and moved the practice there. We have grown to occupy both floors and the basement of the Kelp house and now employ an office manager, a legal assistant, a legal secretary, an associate attorney, Matthew Barr, and David Grupenhoff, of counsel. Together, Tom, Matt and Dave strive to provide a broad range of legal services to the people of Brown County (and our guests) for a reasonable price. Appying rigorous energy, experience, and resourcefulness to every case we accept, our firm is dedicated to our clients success.
