ATTORNEY PROFILE M. Kamran Meyer is a 2005 graduate of the University of California at Irvine, where he received Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Sociology. Prior to receiving his degrees, Mr. Meyer served as a civil mediator in the Orange County Superior Court through the Fair Housing Council of Orange County. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2008. During law school, Mr. Meyer held clerkships at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, and the San Francisco Sheriff's Department's Prisoner Legal Services division. He is currently an active member of California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, the ACLU Lawyer's Council, and provides pro-bono representation for clients arrested in the course of lawful protests through the Demonstrations Committee of the National Lawyers Guild.
