Welcome I started my practice in 1997. For the most part it has been myself, a legal assistant, and an office dog helping clients for more than 20 years. I have always told clients that choosing a lawyer comes down to the personal experience and trust. Generally speaking, there are many lawyers in this area that can likely handle your case. It is also likely that the fees would be in the same ballpark. What do I think sets my office apart from others? Personal Relationship I meet with my clients directly. You do not meet with a junior associate or an assistant. I respect that you have trusted your legal business to me, and I take it as my responsibility to get to know you more than just a number. If you do not have a personal relationship with your lawyer and like to deal with them even in difficult times, I am not sure how you could ever trust them. Honest Dealing I have had consultations with many clients over the years where I have talked them out of expensive actions that I thought were unwarranted. I do not encourage a fight simply to generate attorney fees. I have always believed that if I provide a good service at a fair price, I will have plenty of work to do. That philosophy has never failed me. Respect I come from a blue-collar family. I treat all people with the same respect and dignity whether they are going through a difficult family matter or being charged with a crime. If a lawyer comes across to you as being "too good for you," treats you with disrespect, or does not take the time to explain to you what is going on in terms you can understand, that lawyer does not deserve your hard earned money.
